Terms and Conditions of Use: Getting on the Greens

ParSports for 3 or 5 days can be purchased from local Tourist Information Centres in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Seahouses, Wooler, Alnwick, Amble, Craster and Rothbury at £44 or £70 per person respectively. ParSports can also be purchased in advance by sending a cheque for the appropriate remittance to Tourism Department (Golf), Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1ED - cheques should be made payable to Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council and you will need to specify the dates you wish to use the ParSport. ParSport users should book tee times in advance with individual clubs or through the accommodation host. Telephone numbers can be found by referring to the Golf Club entry.

ParSport Handicaps

ParSports are valid for weekdays only, not weekends and must be used in one successive two week period. ParSports are valid between 1st April and 31st October. ParSports allow for a maximum of two rounds per course per day. One ticket must be surrendered at each course. ParSport latest tee off time is 4pm (the last time on a 9 hole course to play 9 holes). All play is subject to local rules and regulations. On days of local competitions or tournaments courses may be unavailable. ParSports are non transferable between golfers or to different dates and the same ParSport must not be used by more than one person. ParSports are valid for one year only and are non-refundable.

Fair Play

Golfers understand the ettiquette of the game. The following requests should be adhered to as a courtesy to participating clubs and fellow golfers: Replace Divots as required and make any pitch mark repairs. Allow faster players through, especially if there is a clear hole in front of you. Most clubs require a reasonable standard of dress. Please check when booking.

Course Closure - In the event of bad weather forcing closure of ALL courses in the scheme, partial refunds may be available. Groups - There may be restrictions on groups using the passes so we advise you to check with Clubs direct before you book.
