"With lush generous fairways and clinging semi rough, the Course provides a challenge to all categories of golfer." Established in 1903, with the initial layout of nine holes designed by Willie Park, the then Professional at Musselburgh. Magdalene Fields Golf Club enjoys a cliff top setting with coastal views southwards to Holy Island and northwards to Scotland. The 18 hole course is parkland with a typical links layout set outside the Elizabethan Walls of Berwick-upon-Tweed, where English and Scots battled for centuries for control of the Border Town. |
